Policies
About the Inn:
- Please note that The French Manor Inn & Spa is not suitable for children under age 12.
- All our accommodations are non-smoking. If smoking is detected in your room or suite, The French Manor Inn & Spa may charge a fumigation (cleaning) fee of $250.00.
- The French Manor Inn & Spa is not pet friendly. However, we do accept licensed and fully vaccinated ADA service dogs.
Check In and Check Out Times:
- We guarantee rooms ready for check in at 3:00 PM.
- If you require an earlier check in or check out time, please call our office to check availability at 570-676-3244.
- Check out time is 11 AM.
Deposits:
- A deposit of 50% is required at the time your reservation is made. A one-night stay will be charged in full, including taxes and enhancements. If you are booking 3 days or less prior to arrival, payment in full is required at the time of booking. Final payment for the balance of your reservation is taken 3 days prior to arrival. If you have questions about our deposit policy, please phone us at 570-676-3244 for clarification before making your reservation.
Payment:
- We honor all major credit cards and will accept cash at check-in time. Deposits will be charged at the time the reservation is made. Balance due will be charged 3 days prior to arrival to the credit card provided to secure the reservation. Any incidentals such as dinner, added spa treatments or spa gratuities will be charged at upon completion of those services.
Cancellation Policy:
- All Reservations are subject to a 14-day cancellation period. A 72-hour cancellation period is granted with the purchase of cancellation coverage. A 30-day cancellation period is instituted during special events and for many weekend experiences, such as New Year's and Murder Mystery Weekends. Please read your confirmation to determine your cancel period.
If you cancel outside the cancellation period, your room deposit will be refunded in full less a $100 cancellation/processing fee.
If you cancel within the cancellation period up to 72 hours prior to your arrival date or have made your reservation inside the required cancellation period, we will send you a Letter of Credit towards a future stay for the full deposit. Please note that no refunds will be issued inside the cancellation period, unless cancellation coverage is purchased at time of booking, in which case no refunds will be issued inside of 72 hours prior to your arrival.
Reduced Stays:
- If you are reducing a stay that has a minimum night stay requirement or is within the cancellation period, you are responsible for full payment.
No Show:
- The entire balance of your stay will be charged to the card on file. You will be sent a reservation reminder 5-7 days prior to your arrival.
Cancellation coverage:
- As a small, family run hotel, we do NOT overbook and require your commitment to your reservation. Reservations are accepted with the understanding you will be financially responsible for the entire period reserved. We cannot be responsible for illness (including COVID-19), family emergencies, work conflicts or inclement weather. We highly recommend you purchase our cancellation coverage , allowing for a 72 hour cancellation at an additional fee. Coverage must be purchased at time of booking.
