Plan a Day at Raymondskill Falls in the Poconos

The Pocono Mountains are teeming with beautiful streams, rivers, and waterfalls. Raymondskill Falls is one of them, and it’s an absolute must-see. This three-tiered cascade is the tallest waterfall in Pennsylvania. Just a few feet shorter than Niagara Falls, it’s located in the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area and is a spectacular place to explore. If you’re up for the journey, grab your hiking shoes and embark on an adventure to Raymondskill Falls.

Raymondskill Falls Hiking

The trail to the Raymondskill Falls is only 0.3 miles, making it a moderately easy hike. (Just be wary of the steep points!) At the end of the trail, you’ll see the raging waters of Raymondskill Creek tumbling down the escarpment. There are two viewing platforms available for you to take pictures and soak in the beauty of the falls. The lower platform provides a perfect full view of the waterfall, and the top platform is a great spot to see the upper pools. We recommend using both platforms to experience the enchanting cascades from different vantage points.

Visitors should keep in mind that Raymondskill Falls is part of the Dingmans Falls Visitors Center and abides by their operating dates. Check the National Park Service’s Delaware Water Gap website for Dingmans Falls’ hours, closures, and other information.
