The first hike on our list is Mount Minsi via Appalachian Trail. This trail is perfect for new hikers as it’s well-marked and in good condition. It’s a moderate 5-mile roundtrip with stunning views from the summit.

Hornbecks Creek Trail

Next up is Hornbecks Creek Trail, also known as Indian Ladders. This trail features just 6 kilometers (3.7 miles) of hiking but offers some of the most beautiful views in the Gap. You can also see Upper Indian Ladders Falls along this trail which makes it even more special.

The Sunfish Pond Loop via Appalachian Trail is another great option for those looking for a longer hike. This 8-mile loop takes you through some stunning scenery including Sunfish Pond and Mt Tammany Fire Tower at its peak.

Dingmans Creek Trail

For those looking for something a bit shorter, Dingmans Creek Trail is a great choice. This 1-mile loop takes you along Dingmans Creek and features several waterfalls along the way, making it one of the most popular trails in the area.

The Blue Mountain Trail & Woods Road Loop is another great option if you’re looking for something more challenging than Dingmans Creek Trail but not quite as long as Sunfish Pond Loop or Mount Minsi via Appalachian Trail.
