Spend a Day at Camelback Mountain Adventures
Whether you’re crossing rope bridges or zipping down the mountain, Camelback Mountain Adventures is ideal for a day of fun in the sun. Before you start planning your trip to Camelback, be sure to check out a park map to help you find your way around the mountain. The following are some of our favorite things to do at this amazing Poconos amusement park.
1. Appalachian Express Coaster
This 4,500-foot roller coaster speeds down the steep hills and slopes of Camelback Mountain. You’ll get a one-of-a-kind view of the scenery as you whiz by on steel tracks. To get pumped up, take a look at some of the videos on their site. Don’t forget to buy your ticket in advance! You don’t want to miss this ride.
2. Ropes Courses
Camelback Mountain Adventures offers great treetop excursions! The Treetops Adventure Course features 100 awesome aerial obstacles. It is the perfect way for your group to challenge themselves, have fun together, and discover the beauty of the Poconos from above. Reservations are recommended for this popular course, so be sure to call ahead!
3. Pocono Pipeline Mountain Slide
The alpine slide at Camelback Mountain Adventure takes guests on a scenic cart ride on a 2,800-foot track! It features twists, turns, dips, and more. Guests can control their own speed – up to 25 miles per hour – and race other riders as they make their way down the mountain.
4. Zip Lines
Camelback Mountain Adventures has two zip line experiences. Race a friend down the 1,000-foot Dual Zip lines at eight stories high! This quick race is sure to get your heart pumping. Ready for more action? The 4,000-foot Soaring Camel Twin Zip-Flyers is one of the longest zip lines in North America. Racing the person next to you at speeds of up to 60 mph, you’ll have incredible panoramic views of the Poconos and can wave at friends and family watching from far below.
5. Dining at Camelback Mountain Adventures
When it’s time for lunch, fuel up at CBK Lodge where you can enjoy sandwiches, wraps, and salads to go. For heartier fare, feel free to visit the Trails End Pub & Grille where you’ll find distinct lunch and dinner menus. These feature special entree and dessert options as well as a full bar and a beautiful outdoor patio.
Camelback Mountain in the Winter
If you’re visiting Camelback Mountain Adventures in the winter, you’ll find excellent skiing. Also, we offer a special VIP ski package with an all-day lift ticket at Camelback Mountain, along with some great French Manor Inn swag.
