An Overview of Buck Hill Golf Course

Buck Hill Golf Course opened its first nine holes in 1907. Ever since, it has been a favorite golfing destination for visitors and locals living in Buck Hill Falls, PA. Two additional 9-hole courses have been added over the years, creating a total of 27 holes. Designed by renowned architects Donald Ross and Robert White, each course meanders through rolling hills, lush forests, and varied mountain terrain. Words simply just don’t do it justice; you’ll have to play a round for yourself! When you visit, you’ll find beautiful views and exciting challenges around every turn.

The Red Course:

Designed by Robert White, the Red Course is the original of the three courses. It is also a bit shorter, with three par threes, a par five, and a very challenging set of four par fours. As the most open and hilly course, it offers unparalleled sights of the surrounding valleys and mountains. Tee off and enjoy the views!

The White Course:

Created by architect Donald Ross, this pristine course features wide-open greens and fairways. The long, flat course winds past the Buck Hill Falls cottages, mountainous landscapes, and the bubbling Griscom Run Creek. However, the main highlight is the 199 yard downhill run leading to the signature hole on the White 9.

The Blue Course:

If you would like to explore a course that is both hilly and long, The Blue Course offers the best of both worlds. Another Donald Ross masterpiece, this 9-hole course promises a challenging yet rewarding play every time. As you navigate the tree-lined fairways, you’ll find elevated tees and deep swales throughout.

Membership and Hours of Operation

Buck Hill Golf Course opens on April 1st and closes for the season on November 15th. Non-residents can either book a tee time online or sign up for a membership. Golf carts are included in the green fees and clubs are available to rent at the on-site pro shop. Before you play, you can hit some practice balls at the driving range or putting green. After you’ve enjoyed a round or two, be sure to see what’s on the menu at the Fairway Grille in Buck Hill Falls. It’s the perfect place to grab a bite to eat with friends after a fantastic day on the greens!
