Shawnee Mountain Ski Area 

If you’re skiing in the Poconos for the first time, head to Shawnee Mountain Ski Area in East Stroudsburg, PA. This family-friendly resort has a ski school, two freestyle terrain parks, and a snow tubing park. It’s comprised of 125 acres of terrain and offers 23 trails. Some slopes are even open for night skiing when snow conditions allow it. There resort also offers a ski shop with equipment, clothing, gear, and more. Camelback Mountain Resort 

Camelback Mountain Resort in Tannersville, PA, was voted the best ski resort in Pennsylvania four years in a row. Blue Mountain has the highest vertical drop in Pennsylvania and offers the longest ski runs on varied terrain, with 39 trails that challenge every level of skier and rider.
