About the Festival
Since 2004, Clarks Summit Festival of Ice has returned to Scranton, PA, every President’s Day weekend. The festival features themed events, incredible ice sculptures, and plenty of fun for guests of all ages. Ice festivals are a winter tradition around the world and serve to celebrate the beauty and culture of the winter season. As one of the best ice festivals in the country, Clarks Summit Festival of Ice carries on the tradition in a fantastic way. If you’re in the area this winter, this is a can’t-miss event!
What to Do at the Festival
Each year, a unique theme is put in place for the four-day event. This year’s festival uses Star Wars as its inspiration and is calling the festival “Ice Wars.” Included in the celebration is a Comicon that gives guests the opportunity to meet some of the biggest names in comics, participate in cosplays, and enter to win incredible prizes. Additionally, the festival features over 50 one-of-a-kind ice sculptures, a parade, live music, horse and carriage rides, and much more!
