1. Wally Lake Fest
With lots of live music and family-friendly activities all weekend long, Wally Lake Fest remains a top local favorite! 2. Sweet Corn & BBQ Festival
Can you imagine a better way to celebrate summer than consuming your fill of sweet corn, BBQ, and an icy cold beverage, along with non-stop entertainment? Stop by the Shawnee Mountain Sweet Corn & BBQ Festival in August to enjoy a wide variety of BBQ, treats, drinks, dancing, and overall fun!
Musikfest, one of the largest music festivals in the nation, provides something for everyone! Around 900,000 people will enjoy 500 shows across 14 different stages in August. 4. Pocono Wine Festival
Hosted by Stone Lake Inn, the Pocono Wine Festival features great local wineries, music, and food. A $10 ticket gets you complimentary tastings and a souvenir wine glass! For more Poconos wine, don’t miss the Lehigh Valley Wine Trail, too!
5. The Poconos’ Wurst Festival
The Poconos’ Wurst Festival is back in July, with kielbasa, wieners, pierogis, wursts, and brew at this Polish and German-themed event. Live bands will be playing contemporary hits, country music, and of course, polka music across four different venues. Attendees can participate in Bier Stein Olympics consisting of stein hoisting, a liter stein bucket race, and the Wurst beer belly contest.

Shawnee Celtic Festival, on Memorial Day weekend May 27-28, 2017, provides fun for the whole family. Tons of great music from the Emerald Isle will get your feet tapping, along with performances by Irish step dancers and more! The kids will enjoy a petting zoo, Celtic Wizard magic show, face painting, and a leprechaun juggling show.
8. Pocono Mountains Music Festival
The Pocono Mountains Music Festival, formerly the Buck Hill Skytop Music Festival, focuses on highlighting up-and-comers in the world of performing arts. That means the musical performances cover a gamut of styles from opera to cabaret to jazz. You can even enjoy musical theater performances as well.
